Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs the rules related to refunds and cancellations on the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to this policy.
Nature of Contributions
– Contributions made by Backers are intended to support creative projects and are not considered purchases.
– AGIFEST PRIVATE LIMITED does not guarantee project success or reward delivery.
General Refund Policy
– AGIFEST PRIVATE LIMITED is not responsible for issuing refunds. All refund requests must be directed to the respective Creator.
– Refunds are at the sole discretion of the Creator unless otherwise required by law.
Creator Responsibilities
– Creators must clearly state their refund policies on their project pages.
– Creators are responsible for resolving disputes and processing refunds, if applicable.
Platform Fees
Service fees charged by the Platform are non-refundable once a transaction is processed.
Cancellation by Backers
– Backers may cancel their pledge only if the project is still live and open for funding.
– Once the project closes successfully, cancellations are not allowed.
Cancellation by Creators
– Creators may cancel projects before completion if unforeseen circumstances arise.
– In such cases, Creators must notify all Backers and handle refunds as per their stated policies.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.
